How We Report
CRN Times prioritizes primary documents, official records, direct statements, public records, original reporting, scientific research, company filings, court records and other reliable sources whenever practical.
When information was first reported by another news organization, we aim to identify and credit that source rather than present another publisher's reporting as our own. Our articles should add meaningful editorial value through verification, context, synthesis, explanation or original reporting.
Bylines and Editorial Responsibility
Each CRN Times article should identify an accountable author or editorial desk. Individual bylines are used when one contributor has primary responsibility for a story; desk bylines may be used for collaborative, continuously updated or newsroom-produced coverage.

We work to verify material information before publication. Breaking and developing stories may change as new facts emerge, and articles may be updated when additional reliable information becomes available.
