What We Review
CRN Times reviews reported errors involving facts, names, dates, statistics, quotations, locations, photograph captions, attribution, headlines, important context and other material information.
Request a Correction
Send correction requests to info@crntimes.com with CORRECTION in the subject line.
Please include:
- The URL of the CRN Times article.
- The specific information you believe is incorrect or materially misleading.
- The information you believe is correct.
- Reliable supporting evidence or a primary source when available.
- Your contact information if follow-up is necessary.
CRN Times will review the published material, relevant source records and the evidence provided before determining whether a correction, clarification, update or other editorial action is appropriate.
Correction
A correction is appropriate when published information was materially wrong. When practical, a substantive correction should explain what was changed and the nature of the error.
Clarification
A clarification may be used when information was not necessarily false but wording or missing context could create a materially misleading impression.
Update
A developing article may be updated when significant new verified information becomes available after publication. A normal update is not the same as a correction unless previously published information was materially wrong.
Editor's Note
An editor's note may be added when readers need additional transparency about a significant editorial decision, substantial change, dispute or other important context concerning an article.
Minor Changes
Minor spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting or style errors that do not change the meaning of an article may be corrected without a formal correction note.
Headlines, Captions and Social Posts
If an inaccurate headline, caption or social-media post materially misrepresented the underlying facts, CRN Times should correct the affected presentation where reasonably possible.
Removal Requests
CRN Times does not ordinarily remove accurate published journalism solely because it later becomes inconvenient or unfavorable. Exceptional requests involving safety, privacy, legal obligations or a serious risk of harm may receive additional editorial review.

If you believe a correction request was not properly addressed, email info@crntimes.com with EDITORIAL REVIEW in the subject line and explain what material evidence you believe was overlooked.
